I'm Andrii Oriekhov, a full-stack TypeScript engineer from Ukraine with 6+ years of experience.

I enjoy AST tooling, codemods, developer tools and graphs, and working on products where the impact is visible. I'm an active open source contributor with 200+ merged PRs, from new features and lint rules to bug fixes and docs in popular JavaScript and Python projects.

Work

Since 2020 I've been at SPD Ukraine. Most of that time I've worked on a FinTech payments platform for businesses: merchant financial reporting, real-time reports on a new data platform, revenue features like surcharges and same-day payouts, and a lot of frontend modernization and code health work across 20+ repositories. Before that I built a metadata-driven app builder, a medical ERP and an internal task tracker.

Stack: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, GraphQL, React Query, Redux Toolkit, Tailwind CSS, Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, Docker, Vitest, Playwright, GitHub Actions. Also Ember, Vue, Angular and Python.
